This is why diplomatic relations important
Having no relations, and thus no diplomatic presence in a country, severely limits America’s ability to achieve major foreign policy and national security objectives. Diplomatic relations should therefore be maintained at all times, unless security necessitates the closure of the embassy.
As previously stated, the primary function of diplomacy is to maintain peaceful relations between countries. Negotiating trade deals, discussing mutual problems, implementing new policies, and resolving disputes are all examples of this.
Diplomacy is primarily used to carry out a specific agenda. As a result, without diplomacy, much of the world’s affairs would be abolished, international organizations would cease to exist, and the world would be perpetually at war. Certain countries can coexist peacefully because of diplomacy.
